- Description
- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to enter into a non-competitive one month purchase order with the incumbent contractor, Integrated Protection Services (IPS), 5303 Lester Rd. Cincinnati, OH, 45213, pending the award of a five (5) year competitively-solicited contract in response to IRS Solicitation # TIRSE-15-R-00002. The one month purchase order is for Facility Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of HVAC systems, building structures, and other systems required for the continuous operation of the Cincinnati Service and Child Care Center, located at 201 W Rivercenter Blvd, Covington, KY, 41011. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this purchase order on a sole source basis under FAR 13.106 (b)(1)(i) - The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deemed only one source reasonably available. The interim/bridge purchase order is for the period of 05/01/2017 through 05/31/2017. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. No solicitation document is available. A determination by the IRS will not open this requirement to competition based upon any written responses to this notice.
