Markey Survey: The FAA has a requirement for Preventative Maintenance, Software Updates, and Repair Services for Government owned TECAN ELISA Instrumentation equipment. This requirement will support the Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI) Aerospace Medical Research Division (AAM-6) at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, Oklahoma City, OK. The proposed Fixed-Price contract is for all required labor, plant, parts, supplies, materials, fixtures, equipment, tools, test equipment, appropriate technical data and other facilities necessary to accomplish preventative maintenance, software updates, and repair services required to assure the proper operation of the TECAN ELISA Instrumentation. The proposed firm fixed price contract is for the One Year Base plus Four One Year Option Periods. The Original Equipment Manufacturer, TECAN Instruments, Inc. of Morrisville, NC. holds the proprietary rights to both its hardware and software components of and the instruments. As TECAN Instruments Inc. holds the data rights and repair specifications thus the FAA does not have specifications or drawings available for release. Immunalysis Corp is the only currently known vendor approved by TECAN to repair, upgrade, and maintain ELISA equipment. The intent of this announcement is to permit companies that may possess the technical capabilities to provide preventative maintenance, software updates, and repair services for Government owned TECAN ELISA equipment an opportunity to provide specific information as to their unique capabilities to provide such support. This is not a Screening Information Request (SIR). This posting is to gather Market Survey information only. The following TECAN ELISA instruments to be serviced include: 1. TECAN- EVO75/WS 2. TECAN Washer/SC-HF 3. TECAN Reader/SC-SUN Only those responses providing required documentation in response to this market survey will be considered prior for further action by the FAA. Interested parties who possess the necessary capabilities should respond with their documentation in writing to the Contract Specialist. Proof of registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov must accompany any documentation. Also included, should be confirmation from TECAN Instruments that the responder has permission to provide the requested work. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing responses to this market survey. Any proprietary information should be so marked. This announcement shall not be construed as a request for proposal or as an obligation on the part of the FAA to acquire these services. Responders to this announcement may be asked to provide additional details / information based on their initial submittal. The final determination by the FAA not to open this requirement to competition, based on any information provided, is solely within the discretion of the FAA.
