Wage Determination Area 2 Map Area 1 Map Vicinity Map Request for Quotation Document NOTIFICATION OF REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AG-3395-S-17-0026 PROJECT INFORMATION: Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies necessary to perform Pine Tree Release on the George Washington & Jefferson NFs, Glenwood & Pedlar Ranger Districts, in Augusta county VA. All trees to be cut have been marked by the Forest Service. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The Forest Service contemplates award of a firm-fixed-price order as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Contract time will be 90 calendar days from the effective date of the Notice to Proceed SITE VISIT INFORMATION: A pre-bid site visit is scheduled on Tuesday May 2, 2017 at 9:00 am. See page 4 of the RFQ document for additional information. You can also contact John Donahue at 540-291-2188 for more information. CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS: Contractor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at the following website: www.sam.gov to be awarded a contract resulting from this solicitation. Registration is this system is free. Assistance is available to help contractors register in SAM. Contact the Contracting Officer for additional information. SET-ASIDE: This procurement is set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code for this project is 115310 and the size standard is $7.5 million. PAYMENT PROTECTION INFORMATION: No bonds required. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: Request for Quotation Number AG-3395-S-17-0026 and all related documents are posted and available for downloading from the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Quotations must be submitted by May 8, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Award will be made based on the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered.
