- Description
- 1. The project includes the following: Building # 546 in Tower Barracks Grafenwoehr is used as a pump station for water supply in Tower Barracks. Among others it is equipped with 2 pressure pumps with asynchronous motor, DP3W and DP4W, nominal power 55 kW. Each of them is powered by an existing frequency converter, make Telemecanique, type Altivar 66, 400 V / 55 kW, with inductor and filter, installed in a switch cabinet. The frequency converters shall be replaced. Throughout the work phase one pump must be operational. 2. The Solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The magnitude of the project is below $25,000.00. 3. The performance period is 60 calendar days, whereby a commencement time of 20 calendar days is included. 4. The Solicitation will be issued approx. 28 April 2017 with a closing date of approx. 19 May 2017. Paper copies will not be available. Once the Solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon parties to review the website frequently for any updates/amendments. 5. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by the RCO Bavaria. 6. Work will be performed in Germany and contractor must comply with German law (e.g. authorization to do business in Germany) 7. Only local sources are solicited in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(12).
