- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems Division intends to solicit on a full and open competition basis for the procurement of a non-developmental or Commercial Off-the-Shelf replacement of the AN/SPN-43C azimuth drive motor. The drive motor will be a form, fit, function replacement AC brushed motor designed to operate in the Navy shipboard environment. The motor configuration shall conform to the Government's drawing. The motor's rating, electrical, physical, environmental, and performance characteristics shall meet those characteristics indicated in the Government's drawing. Additionally, proof that the motors can meet the specification shall be provided within one month of contract award. This notice is a follow-up to the Sources Sought notice N68335-17-RFI-0082 posted on 21 December 2016. This requirement will be solicited on a full and open competitive basis with award being made to the Lowest Priced Technical Acceptable offeror. Further details will be posted with the solicitation. This solicitation and applicable attachments will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about 08 May 2017. Hard copies of the solicitation and attachments will NOT be mailed to the contractors.
