Description
BACKGROUND: On April 07, 2017, the Department of the Interior (DOI), Interior Business Center's (IBC) Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD) posted a Sources Sought Notice (Notice) on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website www.fbo.gov (Reference Number: D17PS00392). The Notice was issued to obtain information from the Oracle Federal Financial (OFF) Release 12 (R12) implementation/integration vendor community as to the marketplace availability of experienced and proven OFF R12 and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) implementers. The Notice afforded interested parties an opportunity to provide information regarding their Technical Capabilities and Experience regarding OFF R12 implementation/integration. Interested parties were asked to provide the requested information by 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on May 08, 2017. On April 20, 2017, the Notice was amended to provide a copy of the draft PWS to afford industry an opportunity to comment on best practices and critical elements that may be included in the PWS. The draft PWS was provided solely for the purpose of industry comment and feedback. Firms were asked to provide feedback on the draft PWS by 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on May 08, 2017. INDUSTRY DAY: IBC's Financial Management Directorate (FMD) and AQD are hosting an Industry Day and public webinar to provide additional information regarding the OFF R12 Systems Support Shared Services requirement in support of the IBC's Financial Management Line of Business (FMLoB) to include the following: background of the requirement, timeline, and responses to information received in response to the Notice and draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Industry Day will be held at the DOI Main Interior Building (MIB) South Penthouse in Washington, DC. The event will be free and open to public. The decision to webcast the event is to be determined. Any and all information pertaining to Industry Day will be posted via FBO.gov. Therefore, please refer to the FBO website frequently for release of information, updates, events, etc. INDUSTRY DAY DETAILS: DATE: Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm Eastern Standard Time (EST). On-site check-in will begin at 12:00 pm EST. LOCATION: The South Penthouse at the DOI Main Interior Building, 1849 C Street NW, Washington, DC 20240. The building is on C Street NW between 18th and 19th Streets. PARKING: The Main Interior Building does not offer visitor parking. There is metered parking surrounding the outside of the building; however most meters have a two-hour limit. There are public parking garages along 18th and 19th Streets NW as well as along Pennsylvania Avenue NW. METRO ACCESSIBILITY: The closest Metro stop to the Main Interior Building is Farragut West - a station on the Orange and Blue lines. To get to the MIB using Metro, off board at Farragut West, take the 18th Street exit, and walk south towards Constitution Avenue. The entrance to the MIB is 6 blocks south on C Street between 18th and 19th Streets - a 15 minute walk. You can map the trip at: http://www.wmata.com. ACCESSING THE DOI MAIN INTERIOR BUILDING: To gain access to the Main Interior Building (MIB), you must enter through the C Street entrance and show some form of government-issued photo identification, such as a Federal Government ID; state-issued driver's license, or non-driver's identification, etc. Inform the guard you are here for the OFF R12 Industry Day. You will then undergo security screening, including bag and parcel checks. After you complete the screening process, you will be escorted to the location of the meeting. REGISTRATION: Pre-registration is required to participate in the industry day meeting. Pre-registration will begin immediately and will close once the maximum attendance level is reached. The cut-off date for registration for industry day is June 15, 2017 noon, Eastern Standard Time. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are planning to attend, please register by sending an email to Jennifer_Jones@ibc.doi.gov and Shanda_Georg@ibc.doi.gov with the name, title, and company/organization, email and phone number for each attendee. Only pre-registered individuals will be admitted to the Industry Day. Registration and on-site attendance is limited to four individuals from each company or organization. Changes and substitutions of individuals will be accepted until June 15, 2017, noon, Eastern Standard Time by notification via email to Jennifer_Jones@ibc.doi.gov and Shanda.Georg@ibc.doi.gov. AQD will publish the names of companies/organizations attending the Industry Day on the FBO.gov website after the Industry Day. Individual attendee names will not be released, unless requested by the individual. On June 22, 2017, pre-registered attendees will be required to check-in on-site. Check-in will commence at 12:00 pm EST. People who have not pre-registered will not be admitted.
