- Description
- This acquisition is to obtain a Firm Fixed Price contract for the purpose of procuring NOUN: Optical Light Filter/Polarizer, NSN: 6650-01-191-6791EW, P/N: G134148-2, which is applicable to the AN/ALQ-184 Electronic Attack Pod. The contract will consist of a Basic Option Year plus four annual Option Years. SCHEDULE: the Basic Option year will include a First Article of a quantity of two (2) each in addition to the production units and test report. Option years I through IV will consist of a quantity of twelve (12) each per year. DELIVERY: First submission of Test Procedure (ATP) is due no later than ninety (90) days after contract award. Submission of Test/Inspection Report (ATR) is due no later than thirty (30) days after acceptance testing has completed. First Submission of Test Procedure (QTP) is due no later than one hundred and twenty (120) days after contract award, Government approval/disapproval of submissions will be furnished within thirty (30) days of receipt, and all revisions are due no later than thirty (30) days after receipt of AFLCMC/WNYEAA comments. Submission of Test/Inspection Report (QTR) is due no later than thirty (30) days after qualification testing has been completed. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with full and open competition. SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED 15 DAYS OR THEREAFTER FROM THIS NOTICE. However, Interested Parties or Person(s) may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal(s). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received within the thirty (30) days after issuance of solicitation, or forty five (45) days after the publication date of this synopsis will be considered. OMBUDSMAN: All potential offeror(s) should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If the contracting officer does not satisfy your concerns, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. When appropriate, potential offeror(s) may contact Ombudsman Tim Inman at 478-222-7426.
