Description
Information Only Pre-Solicitation Notice: The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS), Network Contracting Office, NCO17, anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed-Price construction contract to move Guldmann Patient Lifts from Building 10 to Building 91. The work will be performed at the CTVHCS, Doris Miller VAMC, 4800 Memorial Drive, Waco, TX 76711. The project includes, but is not limited to the following: The contractor shall provide labor, supervision, and material to move twenty four (24) Guldmann Patient Lifts from Building 10 to Building 91 at the Waco VAMC. This will be a two part project, requiring each part be performed at separate times. Part one will be the pre-installation in Building 91 while Engineering is preparing the building for the patients and staff to move in. The second part will be the actual movement of the patient lifts from Building 10 to Building 91, one section at a time. This part also includes placing parts that are removed from Building 10, but not needed for the Building 91 installation, into on-site storage. The Contractor shall supply all required parts and equipment needed to move the equipment from Building 10 to Building 91, to include all mounts and other small items as needed. The Contractor shall move twenty four (24) patient lifts from Building 10 to Building 91, one section at a time to ensure the lifts are in place concurrently with the patients. All parts currently below the ceiling tile will fit into the new rooms. Contractor shall perform all above ceiling work prior to the patients actual move into Building 91. This will be done during Engineering s remodeling of Building 91 in preparation for the patients that will be moved in. The Prime Contractor shall not subcontract due to the nature of the requirement s Life Safety issues. It is also required that the company have at least four (4) years of experience in the installation and maintenance of the ceiling lifts covered under this contract. This level of experience is required to ensure the Contractor has the knowledge and skills to guarantee safe reinstallation of this equipment, therefore, a one-year guarantee is required for these services. This requirement is a competitive offer, Set Aside 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The applicable NAICS Code is 236220, $36.5M.
