Description

The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Washington intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a Design Bid Build construction, firm fixed-price, contract for the P114, Set #1, Medical Center Addition/Alteration, Naval Support Activity, Bethesda, MD THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The RFP will be issued under N40080-17-R-0677 and is expected to be posted to Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ in the middle/end of May 2017. This RFP will be solicited utilizing a one-phase competitive procurement, negotiation procedures under FAR Part 15. Evaluation will be conducted utilizing Best Value, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. The Government intends to award one (1) firm fixed-price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990. In accordance with DFAR 236.204(ii), the construction magnitude of this project is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. Project Description: The project consists of three components; new construction of a below grade tunnel, new construction of a base communication center and the installation of a base emergency generator system.
