- Special Notice#: N62473-16-N-8013 THIS IS A SPECIAL NOTICE ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest (NAVFAC SW), San Diego, California will be conducting an Industry Day for an upcoming requirement on Wednesday, 03 May 2017. The requirement is for the performance of environmental remedial activities at environmentally contaminated sites predominately located on Navy and Marine Corps installations, as well as on the sites of other Government agencies. The environmentally contaminated sites may consist of sites ranked on the Superfund National Priority List (NPL) and non-NPL sites regulated under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), sites containing Underground Storage Tanks (UST), Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) sites, sites pertaining to State environmental regulatory programs, as well as other sites that may require remedial action. Requirements may focus primarily on environmental restoration projects but could involve other environmental work such environmental compliance projects relating to the Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), Solid Waste Disposal Act (SWDA), and Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act (EPCRA). The work to be ordered under this contract will be performed at various locations primarily within the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest (NAVFAC SW) footprint. Work may be located in Alaska, Arizona, California, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington, and at other locations nationwide as deemed necessary to meet workload requirements. However, the majority of the work is expected to be performed in California. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 562910 -- Remediation Services. It is anticipated that the resultant contract term will be for an eighteen (18) month base period and two (2), 21-month option periods, for a total maximum contract term of five (5) years. The aggregate maximum dollar value of this procurement, including the base year and two options shall not exceed $240,000,000.00. The purpose of the Industry Day is to provide a brief overview of the upcoming requirement, as well as to obtain valuable feedback from prospective Offerors with regard to current industry trends/information and provide feedback on the anticipated Performance Work Statement (PWS) and evaluation factors prior to RFP issuance. This Industry Day will also serve as a part of the Navy ™s market research to determine potential sources that may be interested and capable of performing the work. The Industry Day will be held on Wednesday, 03 May 2017 located at 1220 Pacific Highway, San Diego, California 92132. Firms interested in attending the Industry Day shall submit the following information: 1) Company Name, 2) Name, Title, Email Address and Phone Number of the attendee(s) via email to Elia Ram at elia.ram@navy.mil NO LATER THAN 12PM, Thursday 27 April 2017. The number of attendees is limited to two (2) per firm due to space limitations. If there is sufficient demand, the Government may conduct more than one Industry Day session. Therefore, the exact time and location for the firm ™s attendance and instructions to allow entry into the Government building will be confirmed via email response to the firm ™s request. Specific questions regarding the Industry Day shall be submitted in writing to Elia Ram via email at elia.ram@navy.mil no later than 25 April 2017. Responses to the questions will be posted on FEDBIZOPPS (www.fbo.gov). THIS IS AN INDUSTRY DAY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT or a Request for Proposal(s). No proposals will be accepted as a result of this announcement. No contract will be awarded as a result of this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with attending this Industry Day, providing information in response to this announcement, or any follow-up information requests (if any).
