Description

Sources Sought Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 17, Network Contracting Office 17 (NCO-17) is seeking sources for the following procurement: Line Item 0001 Contractor shall maintain Toshiba CT System equipment in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. (See Attachment) Period of Performance: 12 Months [One (1) Year] (And Option Years 1001, 2001, 3001 and 4001) [To be determined] Place of Performance: South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) Audie Murphy Veterans Medical Center 7400 Merton Minter Blvd. San Antonio, TX 78229 The NCO-17 is seeking sources from any capable firm that can provide the services, especially Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Firms that can provide these services are encouraged to respond to the sources sought notice by contacting the point of contact. Capable firms must respond to the POC before the closing date and time of the RFI (28 April 2017, 4:00PM EST) to be considered. Interested firms must identify their company name and are asked to provide a capabilities statement (if available) with their response. Capable firms should identify in their response that they possess the required Philips technical and software updates capabilities. This notice is NOT a formal request for quote or proposals. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The information in this notice is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government. No contract will be awarded from this notice. Notice of Intent If no responses are received, or a response from a firm that is considered not capable of performing the requested services, the NCO-17 intends to award a sole source firm-fixed priced contract to Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. for the required services. The anticipated statuary authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Notice: Do NOT respond to this notice in the Interested Vendors List. The POC for the sources sought notice does not have a Federal Business Opportunities registration account. The POC does not have any visibility to the Interested Vendors List tab within the notice. Interested firms must respond directly to the POC email address listed in the notice for consideration.
