- Electrical Evaluation The Federal Emergency Management Agency's Federal Regional Center (FRC), sits behind a chain-link fence and manned security gate, that was once a Nike missile site during the height of the Cold War. The site was active from 1957 to early 1963 and was eventually decommissioned in 1979. What looks like an unimposing one story building is in fact now, a multiple-story underground complex where several Employees of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, work year round preparing for and mitigating disasters in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska. The contractor shall provide with labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials and supplies, to evaluate the actual wiring that exists in the building. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. The solicitation number is HSFE10-17-Q-0002. This combined synopsis constitutes a solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2007. Please note that any solicitation package materials, documents, drawings, specifications, and/or attachments to the anticipated solicitation will be available only electronically and via the government point of entry found at www.fbo.gov. Hard copy documents will not be supplied by the government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation. Vendors submitting quotes to this requirement must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to participate; quotes received from vendors that are not currently registered will be rejected. Website: http:www.sam.gov. In addition, Vendor must provide at least 3 references of work of a similiar nature. Required site visit to be held at 11 AM on May 8th, 2017 at FEMA's Federal Regional Center in Bothell, WA. Quotes must be submitted by the required deadline to both the point of Contacts listed via email. Also arrangements must be made to attend site visit 24 hours in advance with Richard Albidress at Richard.Albidress@fema.dhs.gov. Note: Award Subject to Funds Availability
