Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO 6), intends to enter into a sole source procurement with Corps Biologics LLC; 1105 Matheson Drive; Leander, TX 78641. The procurement is for an upgrade to the existing Zeiss Cirrus HD-Oct Angioplex system. The Government shall only accept the Zeiss Angioplex upgrade as this is a brand name only acquisition. NAICS code 334510 applies to this procurement with a size standard of 1,250 employees. The proposed contract action is for supplies with incidental services for which the Government intends to procure from one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-5 and VAAR 819.7007. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement. Vendors must be authorized by CARL ZEISS MEDITEC, INC to provide and install the above equipment and software and shall provide proof to that extent. This notice of Intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement shall submit information to: Katie Lavely, Contract Specialist, at Katie.Lavely@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 4:00 pm, EST on May 2, 2017. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
