- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is issuing a set aside for certified small business contractors for daily operation and maintenance of 111 campsites, contact station, and host site at Winhall Brook Campground. Location of work is located at Ball Mountain Campground. The period of performance is from 17 May 2017 through 09 October 2017. In addition, the Government may exercise two (2) optional years with the same scope of services. Option Year One will have a period of performance from 16 May 2018 through 08 October 2018. Option Year Two will have a period of performance from 15 May 2019 through 14 October 2019. The campground hosts will work a schedule of 5 days on and 5 days off from 10 A.M. to 10 P.M.. The hosts are required to remain on site overnight when on duty. The actual camping season is from 19 May 2017 to 9 October 2017. Hosts may depart on the following day at their convenience, subsequent to an exit meeting with park staff if necessary. The quantity of days and the schedule provided are estimated amounts only and are not guaranteed. Unforeseen factors, such as weather, may require a decrease in the estimated number of services performed under this contract. The schedule includes a total of 78 days (76 days working and an additional 2 days for training). The project is planned to be issued in on or about end of March, 2017 and will be set aside for Total Small Businesses. The applicable NAICS code is 561990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $11,000,000. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the New England District. Please note this solicitation is set aside for certified small businesses. This is not a request for proposals at this time, the solicitation requirements and contract documents to include instructions for submission and the response date will be available on or about end of March, 2017. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted. The solicitation will only be available online; in order to download the solicitation offerors must access the Federal Business Opportunities website ( www.fbo.gov ). All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the New England District.
