- The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will host an industry day for Enterprise-Wide Electronic Discovery Program on Monday May 8, from 8:00am - 12:00pm at the SEC Headquarters building located 100 F Street, NE, Washington, DC 20549-1104. Registration will begin promptly at 8:00 am and it is anticipated that the general discussion will begin at 8:30 a.m. This event is intended to provide industry partners with an interactive overview of the SEC's current ecosystem for electronic discovery services. This will also be an opportunity for the federal government to hear feedback and best practices from industry around enterprise-wide electronic discovery services, migration and modernization of current systems, along with operations and support of the government mission. The event will also be hosted via webcast live. The event will be free and open to the public. Pre-registration is required for onsite attendance, as space is limited, each company may only register up to 3 participants. Registration Instructions: [TBD] This event is not for marketing purposes. It is being held with the intent to provide industry members a forum to ask questions and provide the SEC with comments and guidance to better understand the current commercial market regarding e-discovery review, data processing and production applications, and technology. In addition, the intent is for industry to provide input and thought to the SEC regarding eDiscovery workflow, resource allocation and program protocols. An overview of the SEC's current eDiscovery process and eco-system is provided. These documents are intended to provide registered participants with a basis for the questions they plan on addressing with, and input they plan on providing to, the SEC during the event.
