- Scope of Work: In accordance with the attached documents: Provide all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, supplies and supervision required to repair heat exchanger piping and valves at B-991, Hewitt Hall, Naval Station Newport. This solicitation will be issued as a request for quotations (RFQ) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation part 13 under the solicitation number: N40085-17-Q-0536. Estimated Price Range: Between $25,000 and $100,000. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220 and the size standard is $15 Million. This solicitation shall be set aside for 100% Small Business in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set Aside. A pre-bid site visit will occur on or about the 11th of May, 2017. Contact buyer for details. The Government will only accept offers from small business concerns. This will be a firm fixed price contract. The solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format via the internet. The free Acrobat Reader, required for the PDF file, can be downloaded from the adobe website. The address for downloading this solicitation from the Internet is https://www.neco.navy.mil. Contractors are encouraged to register for the solicitation when downloading from the Navy Exchange Commerce Online (NECO) website. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (Amendments) shall be made only on the internet. Therefore it is the contractor ™s responsibility to check the Internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. All technical inquiries may be addressed to Morgan B. Please be advised of on-line registration requirements in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database https://www.sam.gov and directed solicitation provisions concerning electronic annual Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov; Representation and Certifications are required to be updated annually as a minimum to keep information current, accurate and complete. The electronic annual representations and certifications are effective until one year from date of submission or update to ORCA. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All contractors submitting proposals on DoD solicitations must be registered in the System for Award Management Registration (SAM) prior to award of the contract.
