- Cone-Sphere Requirements The Government is conducting market research to identify, as potential sources, companies that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to competently and competitively respond to requirements to provide one (1) Conductive, Cone-Sphere sized appropriately to achieve a Method of Moments (MoM) calculated Radar Cross Section (RCS) at X-band, as well as, one (1) approximately 20- foot tall foam column and mounting base, one (1) approximately 4- foot tall foam column and mounting base and one (1) floor rotator cover. A full list of requirements is provided in the attachment. Interested parties are asked to self-identify or express interest to Shannon Scott ( shannon.scott.4@us.af.mil ) no later than 11 May 2017. Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this market research. Please include any information regarding company's small business status, if applicable. Additionally, please provide information regarding capabilities (e.g. - a catalogue or description of capabilities and nature of goods and/or services the company provides) and a rough order of magnitude estimate of price. Anticipated contract award 30 June 2017. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposal. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Companies responding to this sources sought are advised that participation does not ensure involvement in future solicitations or contract awards. The Government will not reimburse any company or individual for any expenses associated with preparation or participation in the sources sought. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this sources sought.
