- Description
- The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis for the completion of Data Mart, Phase 3, beneath the current contract; "The Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership System (PECOS) Support Services," Contract No. HHSN316201200011W/HHSM-500-2016-00006U with CGI Federal. The original intent of the PECOS contract includes Development of Provider Analytics and Reporting Data Mart Solution for the PECOS System and Generation of Outbound Data Extracts from the Data Mart. Phase 1 and 2 were completed by CGI and Phase 3 is required for the contractor to complete the final complex phase to wrap up completion of the existing data migration (additional subject areas) from the PECOS Transactional database to the PECOS Data Mart. This sole source modification is being conducted pursuant to the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c), as implemented by FAR 6.301, that only one responsible source and no other type of supply or service will satisfy agency requirements. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. All interested sources must respond in writing with clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to perform the work within 15 days after posting. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on the response received is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Contracting Officer for this action is Tonya D.
