Description
RFI Amendment 2 corrects voltage information Amendment 2: corrected information regarding DC imput voltages "24V, +20%/-10%" Amendment 1: the channel spacing minimum is 8.33 kHz Air Traffic Control Radio Replacement Program Transceiver Procurement This is a Request for Information (RFI) only, which as part of market research, is being issued in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 15.201(e). This is NOT a solicitation. NO CONTRACT shall be awarded as a result of this RFI. NO SOLICITATION will necessarily result from this RFI. Air Traffic Control & Landing Systems (ATCALS) will not pay respondents for information provided in response to this RFI. NO PRICING information shall be provided. Any pricing information received will be REMOVED and NOT CONSIDERED by the Government. DESCRIPTION: The ATCALS program office located at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, is requesting information from industry to assist in the planning for the acquisition of Ground-to-Air Transceivers. The transceivers must be approved for use in the National Air Space by the FAA. The transceivers must be 8.33 kHz capable. The transceivers must be Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) capable. The current planning strategy is to procure approximately four hundred (400) UHF transceivers and two hundred twenty-five (225) VHF transceivers with approximately four hundred (400) remote control units that allow the Air Traffic Controllers to remotely change the frequency of the radios. Goals are as follows: •· Procure approximately four hundred (400) UHF transceivers. •· Procure approximately two hundred twenty-five (225) VHF transceivers •· Procure approximately four hundred (400) remote control units
