- Sources Sought for Telemetry Radios This is a sources sought synopsis for acquisition planning purposes and no formal solicitation exists at this time. All qualified vendors may submit capability statements for consideration. Capability statements received will be reviewed to determine the technical, administrative, management, and financial capability to perform this type of work. The capability statements will be used to determine appropriate procurement strategy. The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), Lower Colorado Region, Water Management Information System employs line of site radio telemetry equipment to collect and monitor the Colorado River including reservoir levels, river levels, flows, numerous irrigation projects, diversion dams, Reclamation Dam flows and canals throughout the lower Colorado Region. Reclamation requires an experienced contractor to supply Point-to-Point (PTP) or Point-to-Multipoint (PMP) operation telemetry radios with the minimum salient characteristics, as stated in the attachment. The Government anticipates award of a single purchase order, as a result of any solicitation that is posted at a later date. Responsible firms are requested to submit a capability statement on or before May 12, 2017 by 4:00 P.M., Local Time. Submittals will be reviewed and considered by Reclamation during the solicitation planning process. Send your capability package via e-mail to jschilke@usbr.gov. Your package should include the following information: 1. Capability statement (5 page maximum) - include specifications that show you are able to provide radios that meet the salient characteristics as specified in the attachment. 2. Provide your business name, address, point of contact, phone number, email address and DUNS (if applicable). 3. Provide your business size & type: 8(a), HubZone, Women-Owned, Service Disabled Veteran, Small Business or Large Business. All firms should identify whether or not they are a small businesses or other than small business in accordance with the size standard for The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) 334220 - Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing.
