- Page 1 of 1 SYNOPSIS: The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHCS) has a requirement to REPLACE Packaged Air Conditioning (A/C) Units at seven (7) different locations within the VAGLAHCS located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles CA 90073. A Firm-Fixed Price Construction award is anticipated. A certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business contractor shall provide all equipment, labor, materials, parts, tools, supervision, services, and expertise needed to deliver turnkey removal and replacement of seven (7) air conditioning units as required by the solicitation request and statement of work. Work includes but is not limited to demolition, general construction, plumbing and HVAC work, electrical, and other elements / items as required. Work will be performed in/around an operational hospital environment, which will remain operational during the project duration. Solicitation documents will be available electronically on/about April 27, 2017 at the following website: www.fedbizopps.gov. Bidders will search for solicitation VA262-17-Q-0792 to access solicitation documents and any issued amendments. BIDDERS ARE ADVISED TO CHECK THE SITE FREQUENTLY AS THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING AMENDMENTS. Only electronic email quotes will be accepted. Only one (1) organized Pre-Bid Conference and Job Walk / Site Visit will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 10:00AM local at Building 300, southside Arnold Ave. entry. NAICS: 238220; Small Business Size Standard: $15 Million; Project Magnitude: Between $25,000 and $100,000. Contract Period of Performance will be 60 Calendar Days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must be registered, certified and current with the Center for Verification Excellence (CVE), Vendor Information Pages (VIP), and System for Award Management (www.sam.gov). The single source of entry for all outgoing documentation / information pertaining to this acquisition will be http://www.fbo.gov. Telephone, email, and fax requests for a solicitation package / information will not be accepted. All interested bidders (prime contractors & subcontractors) can register at www.fedbizopps.gov so that others will know of your interest in participating in this procurement. A Bidder's List will not be prepared nor distributed by the Contracting Officer, as it is the Bidder's responsibility to register at the FedBizOpps website.
