- This announcement is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) and constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. North American Industrial Classification Standard 333413 applies to this solicitation; business size standard is 500 Employees. The South Dakota Air National Guard Maintenance Group (MXG) has a Brand Name or Equal requirement for a HEPA Vacuum Sanding System. This vacuum sanding system is required in the work center for eliminating residual airborne hexavalent chromium, and other heavy metals associated when sanding aircraft related parts and support equipment. CLIN 0001 Qty: 1 Clayton DustMaster System Model 670-DM-1535-0 (or Equal) HEPA Vacuum Sanding System must meet the following specifications: -ULPA filter to capture at a minimum 99% of particles 0.12 µm and larger. -120 Volt power operated. -Be able to use 3 vacuum-sanders simultaneously. -Shadow boxed consolidated tool kit equipped on the machine for tool control and accountability to include: (2) 3inch Sanders, (2) 6inch Sanders, (1) 3x4inch Sander, (1) 3x7inch Sander, (2) 20ft Hoses, (1) 30ft Hose. -Canister must be capable of holding a disposable catch bag. -Meter that reads off filter for end of life cycle to ensure maximum efficiency of the vacuum filter. -Locking Casters for maneuverability. NOTE: Reference to a product of one or more manufacturers is provided for the purpose indicating an equal or equivalent product; it shall be regarded as establishing a desired standard of performance and quality only. This information shall not be construed as limiting competition. Be sure to submit/attach enough additional information to enable the Government to fully ascertain the specifications/capabilities of the products quoted. If an Equal product is being offered, the information must list the Mfg/Brand and Model of the product along with detailed specifications and a description of how the 'equal' items possess the same salient characteristics. Preparing and Submitting your Quote: Offerors shall provide pricing for the above items inclusive of delivery to the South Dakota Air National Guard, 1201 West Algonquin St, Sioux Falls, SD 57104-0264. These items must be delivered within 30 days after date of contract. To facilitate the most expeditious and equitable evaluation process possible, please use the attached quote sheet for providing requested pricing information. Your firm's standard quote documents can also be submitted but please ensure ALL the information requested in the attached Quote Sheet is included. Please make quotes valid for a minimum of 30 days. Be sure to submit/attach enough additional information to enable the Government to fully ascertain the specifications/capabilities of the equipment quoted. All questions and quotes must be directed to Jeremiah Minter at jeremiah.g.minter.mil@mail.mil no later than two business days prior to quote due date. All questions and answers must be in writing. Do not contact other Government personnel as this will only delay receipt of answers. All questions and the answers provided will be released to all eligible offerors on a non-attribution basis. All terms and conditions remain unchanged unless amended in writing. Evaluation: The Government plans to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the offer conforming to the solicitation which will be most advantageous to the Government. Quotes will be evaluated using price, technical, delivery, and past performance factors considered. Technical, delivery and past performance factors, when combined, are approximately equal when compared to price.
