Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, 100 Emancipation Drive, Hampton, VA intends to award a firm fixed price, sole source Purchase Order to BRR Refrigeration LLC, Virginia Beach, VA. The purpose of the order is to obtain Outdoor Rack System. This purchase is for a commercial item/service and will be made using FAR 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures at FAR 13. Other than full and open competition is authorized pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b). Justification fully explains BRR Refrigeration is currently the contractor that has the service agreement for the current indoor and outdoor refrigeration system for the Canteen Service. It would not be cost effective to use two vendor/contractors to perform these duties.
