- Request for Quotation DD Form 1653 AFMC Form 158 AFMC Form 807 FA8524-17-Q-0008 COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION (PR-FD20601700933) Acquisition of Bell Crank (NSN: 1560-00-633-0813 GA; PN: 204-001-809-1) applicable to the UH-1N Helicopter. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being conducted as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation will be solicited under Other Than Full and Open Competition. SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: (a) NAICS: 336412 (b) No. of Employees: 1500 REQUIREMENT: CLIN 0001: Bell Crank, NSN: 1560-00-633-0813 GA, PN: 204-001-809-1 (One time purchase of 16 each) Item No. 0001 - Firm Fixed Price Quantity 16 each DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this requirement is to purchase spares for the following part in support of the UH-1N Helicopter program. Bell Crank (NSN: 1560-00-633-0813 GA; PN: 204-001-809-1). The Agency's need is to support and ensure that the operational mission of the UH-1N helicopter programs are successfully accomplished as a result of procuring the parts identified in this document. This is a sole-source acquisition/one-time buy with a screening code of AMC: 3/AMSC: R. The Bell Crank will be purchased from Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. (CAGE: 97499), 3255 Bell Helicopter Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76118, due to the fact that the Government does not own the data or rights to the data needed to purchase this part form additional sources. The Bell Crank is a Bell Helicopter designated primary part and is an aviation Critical Safety Item (CSI). Such key characteristics are forgings and raw materials which, according to the engineering drawing, require Bell source qualification. Inspection and Acceptance will be at F.O.B. Origin. DELIVERY: SW3119, DLA Distribution Warner Robins, 455 Byron St., Bldg. 376, Robins AFB, GA 31098-1887, or as specified. Delivery: 270 calendar days after award of purchase order. SURGE and MICAP is 135 calendar days after receipt of contract/option modification. SURGE and MICAP deliveries shall take precedence, and the delivery schedule shall be adjusted accordingly based on concurrence between the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO), Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO), and the contractor.
