THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The NCO 12, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, 115 S. 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI 53214, is performing market research. This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors, including Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Own Small Business (SDVOSB) vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 333924. The Tomah VA Medical Center has a need for brand name or equal Motorized tug: Ergo-Express 4000SLH to replace it current meal delivery system- it has reached end of life cycle. Specifications/salient characteristics: Dimensions to meet following requirements range: width 26"-27", length 51"- 52", height 56"-57" (Must be no more than 20.10 L additional length once attached to existing 52.4"L carts to fit in elevators) 2. Constructed of commercial quality steel 3. Shall require no modifications to existing carts for connection of tug to cart (no permanent hitch system required) 4. Towing capacity: 1000 lbs. 5. Turning radius: 42" 6. Battery: Sealed, non-spill-able, emission free - no special ventilation requirements 7. Shall have tiller steering with variable speed control to offer more controlled maneuvering of both cart and tug. 8. Shall have motorized lifting hitch system with attaching and detaching being controlled by simple button system. Cart must pull Dinex Hydration and Nutrition Carts and Dinex Time Express, heated/refrigerated carts. 9. Shall have a three year warranty All interested firms who can meet the requirements stated above should respond, in writing, INCLUDING ALL OF THE FOLLOWING: Company name. Address. Reference the product, facility and sources sought number on all correspondence regarding this announcement. TELEPHONIC INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 333924 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. The information requested must be received no later than 2:00 pm Central Standard Time on Monday, May 01, 2017.
