THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. The NCO 12, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, 115 S. 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI 53214, is performing market research. This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors, including Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Own Small Business (SDVOSB) vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 339999. The Tomah VA Medical Center has a need for brand name or equal BullEx Fire Extinguisher Trainer. Specifications/salient characteristics: Must be Commercial Grade Must create a Controlled Propane based fire Must use field rechargeable air/water smart extinguisher Must have flame-response technology that detects the trainee's aiming and sweeping motion for adjustments Must have trainer hand control for controlling fire unit Must be able to select class of fire to simulate for training Must be able to select different levels of fire for different levels of experience Must have safety shutoff for if system is bumped or knocked over to provide safe life fire simulator Must have a display that shows the time of each successful training session Must be built with Stainless steel parts to to help withstand repeated use. Must have a flare up button to be able to instantly reignite the flames for further challenge to trainees Package should come with: Intelligent Training System Base Unit Four (4) SmartExtinguishers HandHeld Controller Sensor Guard Controller Cable Power Cable Propane Supply Kit Recharge Accessories Carrying Cases 1-Year Limited Warranty User Manual All interested firms who can meet the requirements stated above should respond, in writing, INCLUDING ALL OF THE FOLLOWING: Company name. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 339999 and the small business size standard is 500 employees.
