Description
The Department of Interior, National Park Service, Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming, is seeking interested sources for a five year (base plus four option years) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity construction multiple award (3 contractors) requirements contract. Awardees will be required to provide all labor, supervision and materials to install spray foam insulation in residential housing units to assist with the completion of rehabilitation projects. Typical floor plans for these residential units vary in size from approximately 400 to 2,500 square feet and consist of a mix of single family homes, duplex and multiplex units. The work will consist, but may vary, of spraying foam insulation on exposed interior exterior walls of a housing unit. Work may also include spraying foam insulation on exposed interior roof surfaces and floor surfaces (crawlspaces). The interior walls of these housing units are 2 ¿ x 4 ¿ built walls, 2 ¿ x 8 ¿ rafters and sheating, and 2 ¿ x 8 ¿ floor joist or concreate wall foundations. Spray foam depth typically will be 50% of stud depth, but this may vary as well. Spray foam shall be medium density closed cell polyurethane (Icynene MD-C-200 or approved equal) insulation. The contractor shall meet the following technical specifications:Thermal Resistance (for 1 inch of material) (R-Value/inch @75 deg F); ASTM C 518; 6.5 hr.sq ft.degree F/BTU; Air Permeance (for 1 inch of material): ASTM E 283: <0.02 L/s.m2 @75 Pa; Water Vapor Transmission (for 1.5 inches of material): ASTM E 96; 0.9 perms; Flame Spread and Smoke Developed Rating: ASTM E 84; Flame Spread:Less than 25; Smoke Development:Less than 450. The Park anticipates that there will be 5 to 8 rehabilitation projects per year that will require spray foam insulation in each of the rehabilitated housing projects. The NAICS code for this project is 238310, with a size standard of $15M. The project magnitude is estimated to be between $250,000 and $500,000.
