Description

Special Notice to Award Silicone Gel Breast Implants Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) (1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Health Contracting Cell, Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source award under solicitation W81K02-17-T-0256 to Sientra Inc. in the amount of $60,000.00, for Silicone Gel Breast Implants, to be used in a patient surgical procedures at Madigan Army (MAMC) Medical Center, Tacoma, WA 98433. The surgeon has determined that this product will best meet the patient's needs for surgery. THE SURGEON MUST MAKE SURE ALL PRODUCTS MEET FDA APPROVAL. This notice is not a request for proposal and a solicitation will not be issued. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent; Mr. Walter J. Bischoff, email; walter.j.bischoff.civ@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
