- Synopsis of Award CONTRACT AWARD SYNOPSIS -26 APRIL 2017 - The Business and Support Services Division (MR), Headquarters, United States Marine Corps, Quantico, Virginia, issued solicitation # H0316-R-0003 on 06 MAY 2016 for a Corporate Wireless Internet Solution. The resulting award is made to: BOINGO WIRELESS, INC. 10960 Wilshire Blvd. Suite 2300 Los Angeles, CA 90024 For the services of providing Commercial High Speed, Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) internet service capability to military personnel, their families and DOD Civilians at Marine Corps facilities worldwide. The resulting contract is a Firm-Fixed Price Requirements Contract for an indefinite number of locations/sites located both nationally and internationally. The contractor will provide a robust system with highspeed bandwidth defined by facility patronage, inclusive of equipment repair and maintenance, managed service and equipment and local on-site support. The contractor has shown evidence that they have or will be able to successfully navigate and attain all required certifications within the various areas of Information Security compliance to attain the Authority to Operate (ATO) in the most expedient manner. The price is fair and reasonable. The solicitation was directly sent to 10+ firms and advertised on FedBizOpps in excess of 60+ days. This is a best value award.
