- Description
- Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo Texas, requires a contract for the requirement for the maintenance and operation of Base Telecommunications System (BTS) Service and Support for Goodfellow AFB, Texas. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision and other items and services. Work under this PWS will support the mission of 17th Communications Squadron at Goodfellow Air Force Base, TX by providing highly reliable wired telecommunications and networked voice, video and data services. The Contractor shall perform Operation and Maintenance (O&M) and other services required to ensure the Base Telecommunications System (BTS) is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The BTS consists of the base telephone system switch, the outside plant (OSP) and inside plant (ISP) systems, network, transmission systems, and all associated equipment. The Contractor shall operate and maintain all BTS equipment and systems in accordance with (IAW) the Original Equipment Manufacturers' (OEM) technical manuals and specifications, Department of Defense (DoD) and US Air Force (AF) policy and regulations, DISA circulars, applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. This requirement is being offered for competition limited to 8(a) concerns. The proposed procurement action for is a Firm Fixed Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a basic period and three (3), one-year, option periods. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 517110, Wired Telecommunications Carriers, with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,500 Employees. The Request for Proposal is expected to be issued on or about 15 May 2017 with an anticipated closing date of 15 June 2017. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. NOTICE TO OFFEROR(S)/SUPPLIER(S): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date for receipt of proposals. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
