- The proposed acquisition covers a requirement for Liners, Flyer's Helmet (Zetaliner), made in accordance with the following Oregon Aero part numbers: NSN - MEAUREMENTS - PART NUMBER 8475-01-472-3318 - 12", ¼" Thick - 95122A 8475-01-472-3774 - 12", 3/8" Thick - 95123A 8475-01-472-3319 - 12", ½" Thick - 95124A 8475-01-472-3321 - 12", 5/8" Thick - 95125A 8475-01-472-3776 - 13", 1/4" Thick - 95132A 8475-01-472-3320 - 13", 3/8" Thick - 95133A 8475-01-472-3323 - 13", ½" Thick - 95134A 8475-01-472-3777 - 13", 5/8" Thick - 95135A 8475-01-472-3322 - 14", ¼" Thick - 95142A 8475-01-472-3324 - 14", 3/8" Thick - 95143A 8475-01-472-3779 - 14", ½" Thick - 95144A 8475-01-472-3326 - 14", 5/8" Thick - 95145A 8475-01-472-3325 - 15", ¼" Thick - 95152A 8475-01-472-3780 - 15", 3/8" Thick - 95153A 8475-01-472-3327 - 15", ½" Thick - 95154A 8475-01-472-3770 - 15", 5/8" Thick - 95155A 8475-01-472-3781 - 16", ¼" Thick - 95162A 8475-01-472-3773 - 16", 3/8" Thick - 95163A 8475-01-472-3775 - 16", ½" Thick - 95164A This solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis and will result in an indefinite delivery purchase order award. There will be multiple orders of multiple quantities to multiple destinations. The total quantity may range from 1 each to a maximum estimated quantity of 1,428 each, for a total dollar value not to exceed $150,000.00. This acquisition will require inspection and acceptance at origin. FOB terms and locations will be specified on each delivery order. Delivery will be required. 30 days after the release of a delivery order against the basic award. All materials used in the fabrication are to be furnished by the successful offeror. It is anticipated this solicitation will be posted to the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) on or after 5 May 2017. All offerors MUST be registered in SAM in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit offers to the Acquisition Specialist which, if timely received, shall be considered. Although the solicitation will be posted via DIBBS, please make sure quotes are sent to the Acquisition Specialist as quotes submitted via DIBBS will not be considered. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as "The Berry Amendment") impose restrictions on the DoD's acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and "specialty metals" (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014), including the materials and components thereof (other than sensors, electronics, or other items added to, and not normally associated with clothing), must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
