- Department of Veterans Affairs Network 21 Contracting Office will be issuing a Request for Proposal for the Load Share North Project to Provide professional construction services to remove the smoking shelter, expand the existing generator building to house a third generator, and add a second separate building to house the electrical switchgear. The work will include all equipment, labor, demolition, disposal and new construction as demonstrated in the specifications and drawings to have a fully functioning system. The Contractor shall furnish all services, materials, testing, equipment, and supervision as required in connection with this Statement of Work, Drawings and Specifications at the VA Sierra Nevada Healthcare System, Reno, Nevada. This procurement is for Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220. Solicitation Info: Solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 14. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered. The anticipated posting of this solicitation is May 8, 2017 and closes June 12, 2017 at 3:00 PM PST. In accordance with FAR 5.102(d), availability of this solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. Site Visit: A site visit has been scheduled for Thursday May 18, 2017 at 10:00 am. Pacific Standard Time (PST). Inquiries: All contractual and technical questions must be submitted in writing by email to charee.harris@va.gov, and copy to dario.rissone@va.gov as a backup. No telephone questions will be accepted. Questions will not be accepted within 7 days of the closure date, or June 5, 2017. Notifications: Notification of any postponements and any amendments to this solicitation will be posted on this website. It is the sole responsibility of the offeror to continually view this website for any amendments made to this solicitation.
