- Renovate CLC Kitchens Construction Services for Project #662-17-006 Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 21 will be issuing an Invitation for Bid for General Construction Contractor. The project will be located at VA San Francisco Health Care System. The intention of this project is to renovate the CLC kitchens on Ground and First Floors. First Floor Kitchen is primarily used for recreational and occupational therapy. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment needed to complete the work required. Ground Floor Kitchen is primarily used for serving restaurant style meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There are three functions of interactions in the kitchen: Food Preparation, Serving Area, and Refreshments. The refreshment function is accessed by staff during non-meal times and used for snacks during recreational activities and special events. The scope will include providing all materials, labor, and supervision needed to perform demolition, reconfiguration, replacement, installation, and commissioning as required by this scope and the technical specifications. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220, Commercial and Intuitional Building Construction the small business size standard is $36.5.0 million. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be a total Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set- aside. This is a Pre-Solicitation announcement only. Solicitation documents will be available on or about May 23, 2017.
