- LES Medical Health Insurance Services Solicitation LES Medical Health Insurance Services requirement cover letter U.S.Embassy, New Delhi, India The requirement is for providing of Medical health insurance services to the locally hired employees of the U.S. Mission located in New Delhi and its consulates in Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai in India and their dependents. The estimated number of employees is 1747 with approximately 5,241 eligible dependents. Please note these are only estimated quantities. The anticipated performance is for a base period of twelve months and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. Embassy of the United States in New Delhi intends to conduct a pre-quotation conference for the purpose of answering questions concerning this solicitation on May 11, 2017. Instructions on how to participate in the conference are provided in the solicitation document and its cover letter. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. The deadline for submission of offers is May 30, 2017 by 1700 hours (Indian standard time). Instructions on how to complete and submit the offer are provided in the solicitation (Section 3 and its addendum) and its cover letter. Please read the solicitation document carefully before submitting an offer. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. Only offers received within the response timeframe will be considered by the Government. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation, all of its supporting documents, and any applicable amendments posted on FedBizOpps. All requests for clarification must be submitted in writing via e-mail at: vedij@state.gov on or before May 8, 2017. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 5.207. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
