Page 2 of 3 COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Bath CLC Kitchenette Package SYRACUSE VA MEDICAL CENTER This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and 13.106, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Request for Quote will be submitted through fedbizopps.gov on RFQ reference number VA242-17-Q-0546. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. (iv) This procurement is being issued as 100% set-aside for SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSB). It is the Government s intent to issue a firm fixed price, single award as a result of this solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333318, Other Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for SDVOSBs. (v) The Contractor shall provide all parts and labor necessary to deliver two each of the kitchenette items listed below that meet the brand name or equal specifications as identified below. The requested products shall be delivered in new and unused/unopened condition. (vi) Description of requirement: The SYRACUSE VA Medical Center has a requirement for a diesel powered industrial floor scrubber of brand name or equal to the SC8000 as manufactured by Nilfisk-Advance, Inc.
