Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, on behalf of the Fayetteville VA Medical Center, Fayetteville, NC is conducting market research to determine Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business or HUBZone Small Business, interest in Elevator No Load test service at the Charles George Veterans Affairs Medical Center 1100 Tunnel Road, Asheville NC 28805. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Fayetteville VA Medical Center located at Asheville, NC is seeking an experienced contractor to provide all labor, tools, equipment, supervision, and materials necessary to perform Annual No Load Safety Test for five (5) traction Elevators. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 333921, Size Standard 1,000 Employees, and the Classification code is J099. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. Interested parties should submit with their response the following information: 1. Company name and DUN # 2. POC information 3. Business size and socio-economic classification (for example SDVOSB, Woman-owned) 4. Capabilities Statement to provide required service Please email this information to warren.pennil@va.gov no later than 4:30 PM, May 2, 2017. Phone inquiries will not be accepted. STATEMENT OF WORK General. Special Requirement -- The Contractor will provide all materials, hardware and parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, transportation, supervision and technical expertise to perform Annual No Load Safety Test for five (5) traction Elevators at Charles George VA Medical Center, Asheville, NC. Coordination. Maintenance and Operations (M&O) Section of Facility Management Services will serve as the focal point and Contracting Office Representative (COR) for this contract. The Contractor must pre coordinate work and if needed, associated outages with the COR or designated POC. This work will be accomplished during regular Monday to Friday business hours. The contractor will respond to Building 47, Room BF129 (EB-22) on the pre-scheduled date/time, and make contact with the COR. Contact must be made with the COR prior to accomplishing the start of any work. The COR will be immediately notified whenever the work requirements relating to the elevator No Load safety test, or related activities interfere with normal VAMC operations. Site Visits. Contractors are encouraged to conduct a site visit prior to submitting their proposal. Site visits must be pre-coordinated and prescheduled with the COR. Unannounced site visits will not be honored. The Federal Government will not incur any cost associated with site visits.
