- Description
- Page 1 of 2 The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO) is conducting Market Research on behalf of the Durham VAMC, through this sources sought to help determine the availability of qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), and Small Businesses (SB) to provide Ponemah Software System, accessories and training to upgrade the existing DSI system. The following outlines requirement features that the medical center requires: PONEMAH SOFTWARE SYSTEM 1 EACH TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: PONEMAH CORE SOFTWARE 6.30 1 EACH UPGRADE FROM DATAQUEST ART 1 EACH TO PONEMAH MX2 8 SOURCE ACQUISITION INTERFACE INCLUDING 2 HOURS WEB TRAINING BLOOD PRESSURE ANALYSIS 1 EACH SOFTWARE MODULE PONEMAH SOFTWARE ENHANCEMENT 1 EACH AGREEMENT, 1 YEAR DSI s Software Enhancement Agreement provides continued software support, as well as hardware and telemetry compatibility, by ensuring you always remain on the latest Ponemah version. This annual agreement will lower your cost of ownership by providing access to version updates and product enhancements. Software Enhancement Agreements are available for acquisition and post analysis systems and cover the core software and all purchased options. *CISCO RV130 VPN ROUTER 1 EACH Router shall provide static IP addresses to all of the components in the system. These IP addresses are used to identify implants and provide technical support with identification of possible trouble areas should they need to interface with the system. The router DOES NOT indicate that the system needs to be connected to a network. It simply allows the telemetry system to act as its own closed network allowing the software and hardware components to take advantage of modern day software coding that leverages those languages. It does allow sites that do have a desire to move large telemetry data files across the building, or the World, easy access to connect to a network and perform that task. But, the presence of the router DOES NOT indicate that the system needs to be connected to any network to work correctly. * NETWORK SWITCH 1 EACH Switch is used to pull all of the hardware (E2S-1, MX2s) into a central location (hub) so that power is provided (PoE) and so that all of the data can come from the system to a CPU across one CAT wire. It is simply a power providing device and a way to cleanly gather data from multiple animals/components into one wire that is then connected to the CPU. *MODEL MX2 MATRIX 2.0 5 EACH This is a new multiplexer to replace their current Data Exchange Matrix (the older multiplexer). This is needed to move from a PCIe card based system to a network based one. * POWER CORD FOR 110V POWER SUPPLY 1 EACH * MODEL TA11PA-C10 PRESSURE & ACTIVITY 8 EACH Warranted battery life: 1.5 months, typical cage size: 33x33x15cm, catheter length: 5cm, does not include suture rib These are the implantable devices used for mice to wirelessly capture their activity and blood pressure. ON-SITE ADVANCED OPERATIONAL TRAINING WITH 1 JOB SOFTWARE TRAINING, TWO DAY TRAINING. ALL TRAINING DAYS MUST BE CONTINUOUS. *Must be able to provide brand name or equal. Delivery shall be made to VA Medical Center, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC 27705 within 3 weeks after receipt of the purchase order and confirmation of the order acknowledgment. On-site training shall be scheduled with Dr. Steve Crowley and the DSI Technical Support Team and shall be completed no later than 6 months after receipt of the purchase order and confirmation of the order acknowledgment. The capability statements received from this market research are for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The Government will not assume any costs incurred by the contractor in the preparation of responses. All responses shall be submitted in writing no later than May 3, 2017 at 9:00 AM, EST to the attention of: Cole J. Culley, VA Medical Center, 27 Averill Avenue, Hampton, VA 23667.
