RFI Questions for 9 May Telecom Session *****************UPDATE****************************************** *******REQUEST FOR INFORMATION- TELECOM SESSION****************** J85 Engine Repair Center Request for Information - 9 May 2017 (Telecom Sessions): Tinker Air Force Base will conduct a J85 Engine Regional Repair Center (ERRC) Intermediate Level Maintenance Competitive Contract Follow-up Request for Information- Telecom Session on 9 May 2017. Individual Telecom sessions will be available during the hours of 10:00 a.m.to 4:30:p.m. CST via telecom. The purpose of the event is to request additional information from industry for the J85 Intermediate Level Maintenance acquisition strategy. The Government is seeking more information in regards to industry ability to successfully transition workload, and meet Full Operational Capability (full month of production requirements). To aid the discussion, a listing of applicable Tech Orders have been posted to this announcement as an attachment. Interested participants in an individual telecom session need to submit their request to Ms. Carrie Williams at carrie.williams.7@us.af.mil by 8 May 2017. During this event, interested vendors will have telecom one-on-one discussion by appointment only, lasting NO MORE than 60 minutes. Specific questions that will be asked have been attached. Please review these questions to provide responses for the individual telecom session. The previous RFI FBO posting 13 March 2017 for this J85 requirement stated, "J85 Intermediate Level Maintenance workload will not be done at a government owned facility." While respondents are requested to assume this is the case for purposes of answering the previous RFI, a formal decision on the workload location has not yet been made. Some of the questions included in this RFI may suggest this as well, but this information is being asked to be used to aid the acquisition strategy and a formal decision on the workload location has not yet been made. RFI responses will be used to inform market research and aid in the development of acquisition strategy. As more information is made available it will be posted as an update to this announcement. This announcement is not a contract, not a Request For Proposal, not a promise to contract, nor a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. Industry Day Registration: Registration is open to United States Government Agencies and their Contractors only. Attendees are required to identify their nationality and their positions within the company they represent. This is an UNCLASSIFIED event; no clearances are required. Information presented during the teleconference will be made available to offerors unable to attend via the same process used for specification requests. Companies responding to this request should indicate whether they are a large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, woman-owned business, HUBZONE small business and/or service disabled veteran-owned small business. Please advise if your company intends to perform the work as the prime contractor or if your intention is to subcontract with a prime contractor. Ensure your response contains your company's name, street address, cage code, DUNs number, point of contact with phone number, email address, and company web page URL. All responses must be unclassified. The Government will not reimburse any preparation costs. Teleconference call-in information will be provided in advance, as well as a call-in schedule. Comments, Clarifying Questions, and Responses: All questions will be required to be in writing. Submit unclassified written comments and questions, not involving business proprietary matters, regarding the J85 engine program to Ms. Carrie Williams at carrie.williams.7@us.af.mil. At any time after receipt of comments/questions, the Government reserves the right to contact respondents for further clarification of the submittal. A potential Bidder's List will be compiled from responses to this and previous Request for Information (RFI) and Industry Day sessions.
