- **PLEASE READ: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. NO OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS ISSUED ON THE DATE IDENTIFIED BELOW** Solicitation Documents: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) requiring both price and technical proposals responding to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about May 2, 2017. Description: The work specified, is to replace drinking water lines in the Harrison Gulch Forest Service compound. The purpose of this work is for installing new water pipe, fittings, drains, valves, boxes, hydrants; connecting new to existing; relocating well meter, valves, boxes, and drain; properly disposing old pipe, fittings, valves, hydrants, concrete boxes and appurtenances; properly storing onsite removed asbestos cement pipe; saw cutting and replacing pavement; installation of rock barriers; pressure test new water lines; disinfecting potable water system; providing all materials, labor and disposing of excess/removed materials; and all other work necessary for a complete and fully functional water distribution system. Unless otherwise provided, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, equipment, tools, supervision, materials and any necessary incidentals to accomplish work on this project. Location: The project sites are located on the Harrison Gulch compound is located in Shasta County on the Yolla Bolla Ranger Station (Lat 40°21'46.93"N, Long 122°57'27"W; 2,715-ft elevation). Price Range: $25,000 - $100,000 Contract Time: 60 Calendar Days Estimated Start Date: August 1, 2017. Set-Aside: This project is 100% set aside for Small Business. Bonds: A Bid guarantee is NOT required with the offer. However the successful contract will be required to provide payment protection in the amount of 100% within 10 days of award. Response Location: Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than the date and time indicated on solicitation. SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. SAM.gov registration is FREE! There is NO FEE to register or maintain their SAM.gov registration Vendors do have the ability to use the services at their local Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC).
