- Description
- This is a requirement for new manufacture of the F101 Linear Piston Rod. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish repair, test, packing, preservation and packaging of the F101 Linear Piston Rod. A firm fixed price requirements type contract is contemplated. The contract delivery will be on or before 31 Mar 18. The items and quantities are as follows: Item 0001: Overhaul NSN 3040-01-183-0215JF P/N: 2195041-1, (Mfg 82106); Applicable to F101 Engine; Best Estimated Quantity, 55 each with a range of 50 each to 83 each. Deliveries are to be in accordance with instructions received from the Production Management Specialist prior to shipment(s): on or before 31 Mar 18 at rate of 55 each per month. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS APPLY. For qualification information/source approval requests contact Source Development Office, OC-ALC/BC (405) 739-7243. Award will be based on meeting our requirements and cannot be delayed pending qualifications of additional sources. APPROVED SOURCES are Parker-Hannifin Corporation (Cage Code 82106). The approximate solicitation issue date will be 16 May 17 closing 15 Jun 17. PR number is FD2030-17-01979. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
