- The U.S. Department of Energy, Office of Science, intends to negotiate with Zevacor Molecular, 14395 Bergen Blvd., Noblesville, IN 46060, by other than full and open competition, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 'Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements', for the purchase of Strontium-82 for a period of six months. This is a special notice only and is NOT a request for competitive quotations or a formal solicitation. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to determine a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Responses may be submitted until 12:00 PM Central Time (CT) on May 4, 2017 to Marlene Martinez, Contracting Officer, at marlene.martinez@science.doe.gov, and Karen Czerwiec, Contract Specialist, at karen.czerwiec@science.doe.gov. No telephone requests will be honored.
