- N00164-17-R-WS10 COMPOSITE MATERIAL TO SUPPORT 7R AND ALQ-240 RADOME SYSTEM. (SOLE SOURCE) - FSC 8040 - NAICS 325211 Anticipated Issue Date 3 May 2017 - Anticipated Closing Date 5 JUNE 2017 - Time 2:00 PM EST Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a supply requirement for composite material to support 7R and ALQ-240 radome system. The composite will be used for Radome repairs currently performed at NSWC Crane. The procurement actions consist of Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) T1944 P/N 52220436 BTCy-1A/458 Resin Content Pre-Preg Adhesive, quantity 300 yards. MSDS T1945 P/N 33320411 EX-1543, 0.03 psf, and MSDS TI945 P/N 33325018 0.06 psf, Non-woven Polyester (NWPE) 12", Toughened Cyanate Ester Film Adhesive, Non-Woven, Polyester supported quantity 500 sq. ft. MSDS T1944, P/N 52220847 BTCy-1A/4503 OSI Resin Content Pre-Preg Adhesive, quantity 100 yards. Temperature Recorders are required for shipment and will be included in the price of the order. The Government intends to award a sole source contract to TENCATE ADVANCED COMPOSITES INC. USA, which will cover a five year period consisting of one base year and 4 option years. The anticipated total maximum value of this procurement is $900,000. This procurement will be delivered Fob Destination: NSWC Crane, 300 Hwy 361, Crane, IN 47522. Delivery is required to commence 60 days from effective date of the contract. Inspection and acceptance will take place at destination by the Government. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The basis for restricting competition is that the time and duplication of cost to develop the supplies make it impractical to procure from a contractor other than Tencate Advanced Composites. Responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. It is the responsibility of the offeror to submit offers to the Point of Contact (POC) at NSWC Crane. The Government does not intend to post the sole source solicitation to FBO. For a complete description of the items being procured please contact the POC. Contractors must be properly registered in the Government System for Award Management database (SAM).
