- **PLEASE READ: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. NO OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE UNTIL THE SOLICITATION IS ISSUED ON THE DATE IDENTIFIED BELOW** Solicitation Documents: The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) requiring both price and technical proposals responding to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about May 2, 2017. Description: Furnish all labor, equipment and materials to repave the specified roadways and parking areas at a Forest Service facility in Sawyers Bar, California. This work consists of milling and removing existing wearing course asphalt to a 3-inch depth in specified areas, and place and compact 3-inches of wearing course asphalt concrete pavement. Location: The project work items are located at the Sawyers Bar Work Center of the Salmon River Ranger District, Klamath National Forest, 25415 Sawyers Bar Road, Sawyers Bar, CA 96027. To reach the site from Yreka, CA, head south on Main St and continue on Hwy 3 for approximately 28 miles to Etna, CA. Continue through Etna on Collier Way one-half mile to the stop sign at Main Street/Sawyers Bar Road and turn right. Continue on Sawyers Bar Road approximately 25 miles to Sawyers Bar (15 MPH). The Work center is on the right hand side approximately ½ mile west after entering the community of Sawyers Bar. Price Range: $25,000-$100,000 Contract Time: Tentative Completion Date of July 1, 2017 Estimated Start Date: June 1, 2017. Set-Aside: THIS SOLICITATION IS OFFERED AS HUBZONE SET ASIDE. Bonds: Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful contractor within 10 days of award. Response Location: Offers will be accepted at the Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Redding Office, located within the Shasta-Trinity National Forest Headquarters at 3644 Avtech Parkway, Redding, CA 96002 NO LATER than the date and time indicated on the solicitation. SAM REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. SAM is a consolidation of the former Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and On-line Representation and Certification Application (ORCA) databases.
