- Sterile Processing Service Equipment Install Site Visit Questions Can you send us an autoCAD and a.pdf of the space we have to work with in SPS and define the usable space on the.pdf including any existing space that cannot be moved or changed? Provided by Engineering (attached) Can we have a list of all existing equipment staying as part of the project? Standard trays range in size from 16 x 10 x 6 to 21 x 11 x 6. Can you define size of sink well needed (length x width x depth) in the three well sink? Triple basin- approximate size of each basin 24 L x 17 W x 12 D Can you define number of sinks needed? Height Adjustable Triple Basin Sink unit x 2 Can you clarify timeframe to wash the 12 standard trays in the washers? This is completely dependent upon the vendor. Preferred cycle time to allow for productivity level of 36 instrument trays per hour, average of 30 minutes per cycle? Can you define the quantities and types of manifolds needed for the washers? Three level wash manifold minimum unless manufacturer can provide a better arrangement that can meet the requirements in the SOW for a minimum of 12 standard size trays being wash at a time (16 x 10 x 6 ). Can you clarify the type of robot that you will be getting? DiVinci XI Will the cart washer be pit mounted or floor mounted? Prefer pit mount to avoid sloping ramps for entry and exit Can you clarify number and of loading racks needed per sterilizer? One loading rack per sterilizer Are you going to use clean steam and if so how is it going to be achieved? SPS prefers to begin use of clean steam by utilizing steam generators, RO Water, etc, if this will fit within the footprint of SPS. If it will not fit, then SPS will continue use of Boiler Plant produced steam. Footprint of SPS is approximately 220sq ft. Please refer to CAD drawings for available space. 12. Two Washer Disinfectors Can you provide the chamber size? SPS Prefers: Chamber: 24.75 w x 27 h x 31.5 d, 630mm x 690mm x 800mm External: 35.5 w x 72.5 h x 37 d, 900mm x 1840mm x 940mm 13. Two Washer Disinfectors What is the current footprint of SPS? Approximately 2200 sq ft. 14. One Cart Washer Can you provide the chamber size? SPS Prefers: 39 x 79 x 91 (large enough to accommodate 2 case carts) 15. One Cart Washer What is the size of the case carts to be washed in this washer? We have multiple sized carts largest is 48 long by 30 wide 16. Once Cart Washer What is the current footprint of SPS? Approximately 2200 sq ft 17. Will the washers be required to have 510K compliance? Yes, they must be FDA compliant
