Description
This is a pre-solicitation notice only. This is not a Request for Quotes (RFQ) and does not commit the Government to award any contracts now or in the future. The Bureau of Land Management, Butte Field Office, has a requirement to furnish labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, for improvements to an existing campground and day use area water system. The water system is located in Beaverhead County, Montana. Major items of work under this project include, but are not limited to: 1. Modify existing well for irrigation use only. Remove old pump and drop pipe. Install new drop pipe, associated appurtenances and Government furnished pump. 2. Install new pump, drop pipe and associated appurtenances in a recently constructed well for domestic (potable) use. 3. Prepare base course building pad for new Government furnished and installed prefabricated concrete pump house. 4. Install new buried domestic (potable) waterline from the recently constructed well to the new pump house and from the pump house to four yard hydrants. 5. Remove and replace three yard hydrants and relocate one yard hydrant. 6. Install new buried irrigation waterline from the existing well to the new pump house and from the pump house to seven new irrigation hydrant locations. 7. Install piping and equipment in the new pump house for the domestic (potable) water system and the irrigation system, including a hydropneumatic tank for the domestic system and a Government furnished VFD for the irrigation system. 8. Install a high water alarm for the existing camp host wastewater holding tank. 9. Electrical work. 10. Seeding and surface restoration of disturbed areas. The government intends to award this contract as a small business set-aside under NAICS code 237110. The corresponding small business size standard is $36.5 million. This project is anticipated to be between $25,000 and $150,000. The solicitation is tentatively scheduled to be available on or around May 15, 2017 at http://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect and https://www.fbo.gov. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued. Please check the solicitation for more information and all required documentation to be submitted.
