- Diagram Posting Salient Characteristics This is a Request for Information (RFI), for market research purposes only, and is not a Request for Quote (RFQ). The 407th Expeditionary Contracting Squadron is seeking possible sources to provide aircraft revetments on the Al Jaber Air Base flight line. The NAICS code of 332312 with the size standard of 500 personnel is currently being evaluated for use with this potential requirement. Please submit any additional NAICS code suggestions as appropriate. Characteristics: This requirement is to provide the materials needed to build revetments with dimensions as outlined in the attached drawings. The revetments must abide to the standards set forth in AFMAN 91-201. Specifically, they must be of steel-bin construction that is capable of being filled with earth. Proposed dimensions of the revetments are in the attached drawings, however different dimensions are encouraged. In particular, the government would like to know what gauge of steel is standard for aircraft revetments. Contractors capable of providing these materials should submit a Statement of Capability containing the above referenced information via e-mail to matthew.ploeg@ajab.afcent.af.mil. In particular, please state if commercial air shipping is feasible for revetments. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this request for information is strictly voluntary. No entitlements to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges to the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses, or the Government's use of such information. The information obtained from industries responses to this notice may be used in the development of an acquisition strategy and future RFP/RFQ. 2 Attachments: 1. Drawings for reference 2.
