- Amendment 0001 response to questions 1 May 2017 Amendment 0001 posted. The closing date and time remains 8 May 2017 at 3pm EDST 27 April 2017 Closing date and time extended to 8 May 2017 at 3pm EDST pending posting of Amendment 0001 in response to questions RFQ posted 14 April 2017 Synopisis posted 30 March 2017 MCIEAST- MCB Contracting Office has a requirement for non-personal services to provide full-time support in the areas of parachute/airborne operation and boating operation for 2d Reconnaissance Battalion. 2d Reconnaissance Battalion, 2d Marine Division (2d MARDIV), II Marine Expeditionary Force (II MEF). Support services will be provided at Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The required support services are intended to assist 2D RECON battalion's Parachute Loft (Paraloft) Staff Non Commissioned Officer in Charge (SNCOIC), and Boat Locker staff in all matters requiring professional and technical collaboration along with operational training support. A complete Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be included with the solicitation. The contract will be for a base period of 12 months from date of contract award with an additional four (4) - six (6) month option periods. It is the Government's intention to issue a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. This proposed acquisition will be 100% set aside for Small Business. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561210 - Facilities Support Services with a size standard of $38.5 million in annual receipts. The Government intends to award to the lowest price technically acceptable offer. Award will be issued on an all or none basis. The Government will solicit and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Subpart 13.5. The Government intends to award to the quoter that provides the quote that is the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA). Award will be made approximately twenty (20) business days after closing of response period. The solicitation M67001-17-Q-0028 will be posted on or about 5 days after this posting and made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site at www.fbo.gov. It is the responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov. Contractors must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete them at the SAM website. All prospective offers interested in submitting an offer must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code).
