Description

This is Sources Sought (SS) Notice only. This is not a request for quote. There is no solicitation available at this time. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this SS, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. The SS does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Any information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Vendor participation is not a promise of future business with the Government. The purpose of this SS is to conduct market research to determine an acquisition strategy for establishment ambulance services for the Wyoming Health Care Center in Wyoming, MI. VA is conducting market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Hubzone Small Businesses, or Woman Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), 8(a) firms capable of performing the requirements to warrant a solicitation set-aside. The proposed solicitation is for establishment of ambulance services for the Wyoming Health Care Center with services primarily to Battle Creek VA Medical Center in Battle Creek, MI as well as Grand Rapids, MI area hospitals. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or around June 26, 2017 with an estimated award date of October 1, 2017. The intended contact base period is anticipated to be one base year with four, one-year option periods. Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed to Nikki Horther at nikki.horther@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses shall be received in writing no later than 3:00 p.m., Monday, April 10, 2017. Responses shall include 1) Company Name, 2) Address, 3) Point of contact, 4) Phone number, 5) Fax Number, 6) E-mail address, 7) Socio-economic status) and 8) DUNS.
