Description

The proposed project scope includes the demolition of 12 buildings with the approximate total square footage of 76,243SF at sites throughout the Naval Air Station Patuxent River. The contractor shall demolish all facilities and their associated utilities, infrastructure, roofing, siding, foundations, windows, interior improvements, mechanical and electrical equipment, and any other aspects of the building. If any facility, when demolished, leaves any grade that is below that of the grade surrounding the area of the demolished building, that area is to be backfilled with earth to make the site uniform and level, and shall be able to drain in wet weather. All improvements involving these facilities shall be removed unless parts are to remain to preserve a neighboring facility.
