Austin, Contracting Officer ruth.n.austin.civ@mail.mil Description: The Contractor shall develop DLPT5 test items that conform to DLPT item development specifications and cover multiple Interagency Language Roundtable language proficiency (ILR) levels in six (6) languages Bulgarian, Dutch, Egyptian, Levantine, Spanish, and Urdu. Languages for the option year 1 is subject to change but could include Cebuano, Chavacano, Hebrew, Korean, Modern Standard Arabic, Tagalog, and Tausug. The Government anticipates a solicitation release date on or about May 17, 2017, through Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) website. A single award of a Firm Fixed-Price contract is anticipated and award will be made to the offeror who provides a proposal that best meets the Government's requirement. All requirements, evaluation criteria, basis for award and proposal due date will be provided as part of the solicitation. The anticipated period of performance will be a 12 month base period and one option year. The anticipated full period of performance is period of July 6, 2017 to July 5, 2019. Requests for printed copies of the solicitation will not be accepted. Place of Contract Performance: Presidio of Monterey, CA, The Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center\Contractor's location. Set-aside Status: Small Business Currently there is not a contract in place for this requirement.
